Every successful project starts with a creative brief. This can be anything from an informal discussion to a formal document between yourself and your Bostin account manager. At this stage we make it our business to get to know your business, finding out as much information as possible.

Research & Development

Our Bostin designers will spend some time reviewing the brief and background information before designing. Research is a very important part of the design process and extremely beneficial. During this stage, information on your competitors, target audience and industry will be gathered for knowledge, inspiration and idea generation.


Before using the computer we sketch out some initial ideas using the research gathered. This is an excellent way to quickly explore concepts whilst looking at all possible solutions before selecting a handful for further development.


Once the briefing, research and idea generation are completed, the most effective solutions will then be selected from the initial sketches. These designs will then be digitized and developed further. The chosen design concepts will then be presented to the client. Where we will talk them through the design process and fundamental design decisions. The chosen design concept will then be amended in relation to the client feedback. Once approved the design becomes ready for the photography and artwork stage.

Photography & Retouching

Imagery is a crucial element to maximize the appeal of any design. This is why we work with a range of Bostin photographers and stylists to ensure images are taken with the end product in mind. Our retouchers combine their expertise with creativity to transform the images to achieve desired results.


With great attention to detail the approved design and retouched photos are put together to create digital or print ready artwork. Final proofs of the artwork will then be sent to the client for approval. At this stage we make it our business to get to know your business, finding out as much information as possible. For example, what message are you trying to get across? Who is your audience? Do you have existing brand guidelines in place? Along with timescales and budget considerations.
